About NADF

Who We Are…..

Nishnawbe Aski Development Fund (NADF) is a non-profit, independent, Aboriginal-owned and operated financial institution that provides business and financial services to Aboriginal people living in remote, non-remote, and urban communities across Northern Ontario.  The main office is strategically located in the heart of our service area in Thunder Bay, Ontario and a branch office is also operated out of Timmins, Ontario.

Since the organization’s inception as an Aboriginal Capital Corporation in 1987, NADF has grown in terms of its reach and variety of programs and services offered.  Today, NADF provides business support and developmental lending services to clients throughout the Nishnawbe Aski Nation and into the neighbouring treaty areas of Treaty #3 and Robinson-Superior 1850 as well as Metis.  NADF offers a wide range of financial products and services including:
