Aboriginal Business Contribution Program (ABCP)

Effective April 1, 2013, NADF is administering the programs and services of the "Aboriginal Business Contribution Program (ABCP)" (formerly Aboriginal Business Canada) on behalf of Indian and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC).  ABCP provides contributions to support the growth of Aboriginal business in northwestern Ontario.

ABCP may provide assistance to eligible applicants for business planning, marketing, capital and business support costs.


Applicant Eligibility

Canadian status and non-status Indians, Inuit and Metis individuals, organizations, or other legal entities, on or off reserve.
 
Project Eligibility
Aboriginal entrepreneurs, businesses and communities seeking to establish, acquire or expand an existing business are eligible for support under the ABCP program.

Maximum Contributions
For individual applicants, the maximum contribution is $99,999.
For First Nations or community-owned businesses, the maximum contribution is $249,999.
 
We recommend that you speak with one of our Business Development Officers prior to submitting your application to determine eligiblity.
