Denise Hardy is the Special Initiative Advisor at Nishnawbe Aski Development Fund since September 2013. Denise brings many years of experience in the Resource Field. Denise has extensive experience and knowledge with Forestry, GIS/Mapping, Traditional Knowledge, Renewable Energy, Environmental Assessment, Policies and negotiations. Denise strives to assist with First Nations initiatives that build capacity to improve the socio-economic opportunities and quality of life for First Nation people with mining, forestry and other resource projects.
Denise is a member of Rocky Bay First Nation and in her spare time Denise enjoys teaching curling to Fort William Curling Club young curlers, golfing, running, fishing cooking and getting home to spend time with her family and her daughter.
