John Gagnon and is a member of Aroland First Nation.

Right out of high school John wanted to be involved in working with youth and in Business. He went to Confederation College in 2009 and Graduated from the Native Family and Child Services program in 2011 and it gave him the right education to work with youth in a number of different settings. Before, during and after school he worked in a couple of different restaurants as a head cook. He learned about the food and service industry with experience at the former Waterfront Restaurant and at the Hoito. John saw that NADF was looking for somebody to work with youth in our First Nations communities to teach them about business and he was all for it. John is very excited to be working with Nishnawbe Aski Development Fund in the youth project and continues to do so with great enthusiasm.
