Once again, the 2008 NADF business awards will be broadcast live via streaming media. Please join us as we celebrate the achievements of this years winners.
The Nishnawbe Aski Development Fund Annual Business Awards was established in 1990 by NADF to recognize the efforts of individuals, groups, and corporations that have worked hard to bring positive change to their communities through business ventures. This annual event allows individuals to nominate businesses and business people who meet the eligibility criteria and fall into one or more of the award categories.

Eligibility
- First Nation Member of Nishnawbe Aski Nation
- Sole owner, shareholder (51%), partner, executive directly involved in business
- Development Corporation
- Youth entrepreneur 18 -29 years of age

- Achievement in Business
- Commitment to personal development
- Commitment to community
- Ethical business practices
The promotion to recruit nominees for the Business Awards commences each year beginning in the fall and the Awards Event is then scheduled for late November or early December.
Since 1993, the proceeds from the Nishnawbe Aski Nation Annual Business Awards have been donated to the Dennis Franklin Cromarty Memorial Fund. Dennis was an energetic and dedicated individual who worked on behalf of the people of the Nishnawbe Aski Nation until his passing in February 3, 1993.
