Business Loan Fund
NADF offers direct loans to First Nation members including youth in Treaty #9 & Treaty #5 Ontario portion and other Aboriginal individuals/businesses residing in close proximity to these areas (Treaty #3, Robinson-Superior, Metis). The maximum loan limit is set at $ 250,000 ($15,000 for Youth Business Loans). In exceptional circumstances, NADF can extend this to a maximum of $375,000.
The loan application process requires: (1) completion of the Statement of Intent (SOI) which requires a general overview of the proposed business venture, financing requirements, purpose, and the personal information of the applicant, (2) submitting the SOI with the application fee (after review of the statement of intent, the loans staff will indicate whether the project is one that can be considered for a loan), (3) submitting a comprehensive business plan, three-year pro-forma financial statements, and other information requested by NADF.
Application forms are available through the links below. Please use the "back" button in the tool bar to return to this site.
