We are First Nation Security Company located in Biigtigong Nishnaabeg (Pic River) near Marathon, On and 100% owned and operated by a proud indigenous kwe from Biigtigong Nishnaabeg. We intend to become the #1 choice of security for the mining and industrial sectors in Northwestern Ontario. Mission Our mission is to provide professional and trusted private security services with a focus on respect and co-operation with our First Nation communities. We understand the importance of building a solid business structure and having a commitment to only hiring the best candidates within our areas of operation. Migizi Security Services will provide professional and trusted private security services that assist individuals, businesses and non-profit organizations by providing excellent customer service for clients and in-depth training for their employees. One of our biggest strengths is that the founder and owner of Migizi Security has 20 plus years of experience in the security field, in all capacities of the industry including but not limited to: the mining field, forestry, hospital and camp security. We have a team that can provide our clients with experience, dedication and ethical service. Another strength is our First Nation background and our desire to achieve sustainable engagement for community members in the areas that we will provide service. We want to enrich the lives of the community members through meaningful employment and on-going education. Employees will be hand-picked and trained to an expert level in mine security, advanced first aid training, WHMIS, Ontario health and safety guidelines, working at heights, confined space work, suicide intervention/prevention and alternative dispute resolution plus other training as required Migizi Security Services also adopts the Seven Grandfather Teachings. The Seven Grandfathers are to set of lessons that demonstrate what it means to live a “Good Life”. These teachings are Love, Respect, Bravery,Truth, Honesty,Humility and Wisdom, all of which are qualities that Migizi Security and its employees demonstrate on a day to day basis.
