Fort William First Nation Mining Conference

Fort William First Nation, in partnership with the Nishnawbe Aski Development Fund, is proud to announce its second annual Mining and Economic Development Conference on March 24, 25, and 26, 2014.

This year’s theme is, “Investing in our People” and the conference goal is to encourage First Nations people to build stronger relationships and partnerships with entrepreneurs, government officials, and other contractors and suppliers.

The focus of this year’s conference is to increase awareness of training and employment opportunities in the region. This includes the mining sector and its service providers.
